Mission Four of the Moose: Create Some Interest Membership Campaign Comes to a Close

Mission Four of the Moose: Create Some Interest membership campaign has come to a close. For each application submitted from February 1 – April 30, 2012, sponsors received an entry in a drawing to win a home entertainment system, which contained a flat screen TV, a Blu-ray DVD player and a surround sound system. There were 13 weekly drawings held during the incentive period.

Each winning sponsor’s Lodge also benefited from his efforts, as the Lodge received a 60-inch flat screen TV for the Lodge home. I want to take a minute to thank the members who have sponsored new members into Moose Legion #1, and bring us ever closer to our membership quota of 27. At the time of printing this article, we had 22 new applicates sponcored. That means we only need 5 to reach our quota. I KNOW we can achieve this, especially with the new mcampaign going on to NEVER PAY DUES AGAIN! This is a very simple campaign where if you sign up to members in the current campaign, you get your next years dues FREE. What easier way is there to never pay dues again? Our Fall Celebration is coming up on October 16th and 17th, at the Chicora Moose Family Center. We have a great fun night planned and hopefully a great Celebration planned for Sunday the 17th. Hope to see you make it our and enjoy a day of Fraternalism with our friends that weekend. More details are contained in our newsletter. We had a GREAT time at the All-State Celebration at Sellersville Moose Family Center 1526. Everyone enjoyed hearing our Moose Legion Director, Robert Neff speak, and to socialize with him. He is truly a good fit for the job he has taken on. Also the food was great, and so was the social thime to catch up with some of our old friends from the East. We have recievd our commitment to the new Moose Legion Project at Mooseheart pertaining to the light poles and the Youth Awareness Scholarship award. The total bill comes to around $808.00. The Directors feel that it is only fair that the Moose Legion Lodge Committees pay their fair share, this amounts to about $50.00 per committee. Not very much when you break it down that way. Please remit your donations to the Moose Legion Secretary and I will forward them into Moose Charities. As always, if I can be of any assistance with anything, or you need an Eligibility list please do not hesitate to contact me.

Fraternally,
Ron Maley
